hmmm. I’m fascinated by putting geotags on photos ever since I planned a hike using flickr/map. You can zoom in and click on areas that you’d like to explore and see photos marked with that location. I’ve always loved to take panorama shots, just stitching them together myself in Photoshop - and letting the distortion and overlapping be rough (wabi-sabi style). Here’s a recent one I did from shots taken on a hill in Nagasaki last month:
